Water Project to Begin in 2009

Thanks to the patronage of our guests and the generous donations of several individuals, our first clean water project for the community of Ayacucho is now funded and being planned for early summer of 2009!  This water project is a huge milestone for us and we are excited to work together with the community of Ayacucho Tipishca to provide a water treatment plant and running water to the community from end to end.  We are still in the process of determining the project start date and we are working with PROCREL, the leading conservation and community advocacy group in Peru, as well as others to finalize our system design and to determine the best process of implementing the project.  Stay tuned for more updates!
